Virginia is offically walking now. She still prefers crawling but she will walk as long as no one is asker her to and if no one is watching. She started walking on Wednesday. It was crazy. She walked about 8 feet non stop and has been going since. I am so proud of her!!
I have our vegetable garden ready to be planted. I had some errands to run yesterday morning and when I got home I had noticed that our garden had been tilled. Our crazy, nice, thoughtful 76 year old neighbor Bill had tilled it for me. I tilled it a second time and raked it about 5 times and picked out all the weeds and grass tufts and rocks. I found a neat button and a marble, that was pretty exciting. I spent 4 hours in the garden and it looks amazing if I say so myself. It is about 12'x15' so I am going to be having my hands full the next few months. I am excited to have fresh produce in our back yard!
I almost forgot...had to take V to the ER AGAIN! Those ears of hers! She has another double ear infection with sinus drainage. She is finally starting to look better. Her nose is starting to clear up and her cough is sounding better. She should be 100% in another 3 days.

that is so exciting that V is walking now! flash does look fake in all of our pictures, but he is definitely full of energy. i told jacob the same thing about dogs, that i wanted a little one and he could get a big one when we get a house with a yard...eventually. :)
We can't wait to see her! Well...you and John as well! We're coming to Pittsburg Easter Sunday. Beyond that I do not know! We're praying for John to secure a position with future potential real soon! I hope it does not disrupt your lives too much. I know it was hard when Claudia and I returned "home" to Topeka from Germany. We had no clue where I would get a postion next. Job prospects all over, but which would be the most fulfilling to me, be reasonably close to family, not far from hospitals or shopping needs, and offer the greatest incentives...all good questions and easy, as Chuck Swindoll always says, to accept the good at the expense of the best!
Love you guys,
Opa
